Join our Curator and Conservator-in-Residence for a hands-on clockmaking workshop. We’ll be making our own rack and rack hook levers and simple automata, before moving to the clockmakers’ bench for some practical assembly and disassembly work with a focus on rack striking.

This workshop is aimed at ages 7-11, but supervised siblings are welcome. Children under 2 do not require a ticket.

Please note, the building includes a semi-open workshop with potentially hazardous chemicals and machines. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
