This is an electromechanical weight-driven pendulum clock by Zenith, a Swiss company now perhaps best known for their watches. Numbered 141, it features an auto-rewind powered by a Ferraris motor – a large disk of soft iron straddled by a mains-driven coil. This motor is paused by a break that is automatically triggered once the weight is fully wound. The resultant reduction in wheels (notably the absence of the great wheel) facilitates a more consistent power transfer.
