This is a rare example of a three-quarter seconds Synchronome clock. It is mounted in a small wooden case with a glass door. The earliest clocks of this type were manufactured from c.1908. Like the other clocks of the type that are known, this one has no advance / retard mechanism and is in a flat-top case rather than the more ornate carved pediment top seen in the larger one-second clocks.
